This article is a little different, as recent developments mean we can give you some insights into how we do what we do for you.
One of our core founding values as a company was to give an opportunity to talented local people from our region to shine on the global stage that is the internet. We knew that there were writers and designers in our area that could produce a world class standard of work and, as our clients can testify, we were proved right in this. Being able to give opportunities to talented people in our area is something we always seek out. Supporting apprenticeships has been one of the ways we have achieved this.
We firmly believe that the apprenticeship system in place is of great value. It allows school leavers the chance to develop their skills and talents in a practical way, and opens opportunities for long term employment and career building. A significant number of the team here today started off with us under the apprenticeship scheme, and we certainly hope to continue the growth of our business this way.
In respect of this, we are always happy to help and assist with all matters relating to the apprenticeship system. Earlier this year we were invited to participate in a survey for the Department of Education. The aim of it was to understand the as-is nature of the apprenticeship system for the 16 – 18 year old age bracket, with the intention being to ensure it could be secured as a sustainable and successful approach.
